USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) :-
USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) एक GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) based communication protocol है, जिसका उपयोग mobile network पर interactive services उपलब्ध कराने के लिए किया जाता है। इसका उपयोग Mobile Banking सहित कई अन्य services के लिए किया जाता है।
NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India) द्वारा USSD-based Mobile Banking Service की शुरुआत November 2012 में की गई थी।
USSD-based Mobile Banking के लिए customer अपने mobile phone से *99# dial कर सकता है। *99# dial करने के बाद mobile screen पर एक Interactive Menu दिखाई देता है। इस menu के माध्यम से customer कुछ Basic Banking Services का उपयोग कर सकता है, जैसे Balance Enquiry, Fund Transfer आदि।
*99# को USSD-based banking service के लिए एक common access code के रूप में उपयोग किया गया है। यह service USSD Channel पर काम करती है और Basic Feature Mobile Phone के माध्यम से भी कुछ mobile banking services का उपयोग करने की सुविधा देती है।
USSD-based Mobile Banking का उपयोग करने के लिए सामान्यतः Mobile Internet/Data Connection की आवश्यकता नहीं होती, क्योंकि यह mobile network के USSD channel का उपयोग करता है।
How to Use USSD Based Mobile Banking
USSD-based Mobile Banking का उपयोग करने के सामान्य steps निम्नलिखित हैं:-
अपने registered mobile number वाले Mobile Phone से *99# dial करें।
Mobile screen पर दिखाई देने वाले Interactive Menu को देखें।
अपनी आवश्यक Banking Service का option select करें।
मांगी गई आवश्यक information enter करें।
Authentication के बाद available banking service का उपयोग करें।

Dial *99# from the Mobile Phone associated with the registered mobile number.
View the Interactive Menu displayed on the mobile screen.
Select the required Banking Service option.
Enter the required information as instructed.
After authentication, use the available banking service.
