3D Printing / Additive Manufacturing :-
Important Exam Points:
How 3D Printing Works
इस प्रकार 3D Printing का मुख्य principle Layer-by-Layer Addition of Material है।
Materials Used in 3D Printing
Important Exam Points:
Advantages of 3D Printing

In English 3D Printing / Additive Manufacturing :-
3D Printing is a Technology used to create a real Three-Dimensional Object from a Digital 3D Model.
In 3D Printing, an object is created by adding Material Layer-by-Layer instead of creating the complete object at once. Therefore, 3D Printing is also called Additive Manufacturing.
A 3D Printer can be used to create Balls, Chairs, Bottles, Machine Parts, and many other types of 3D Objects.
3D Printing and 3D Model
A Digital 3D Model is required for 3D Printing.
A 3D Model can be created using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) Software.
A Digital 3D Model can also be created by scanning a real object using a 3D Object Scanner.
Important Exam Points:
How 3D Printing Works
First, a Digital 3D Model is created for 3D Printing.
The software of the 3D Printer divides the model into many Thin Layers.
The printer then adds material according to these layers. The layers are joined one over another until the complete Three-Dimensional Object is created.
Thus, the main principle of 3D Printing is Layer-by-Layer Addition of Material.
Materials Used in 3D Printing
Different materials are used in 3D Printing according to the type of object and printer technology.
Major materials include Plastic, Resin, Metal, and Ceramic.
